Method

  1. Audit. Oriq observes the business as it is actually practised: processes, tools, sector constraints.
  2. Needs assessment. Each need is qualified, with a clear opinion on whether AI belongs there, case by case.
  3. Custom solution. Designed for the sector, the job and the information system of the client. Nothing generic.
  4. Deployment with the teams. Built jointly, the client keeps control, the solution evolves at the pace of the organisation.

Two delivery shapes

Integrated into existing tools. AI installed inside the software teams already use: ERP, CRM, email, line-of-business tools. No change of habit, the information system stays under the client control.

Dedicated service. Oriq designs, hosts and operates a complete service, for internal teams or for the company own customers. Nothing changes in the client information system, everything changes for the people who connect to it.

EU AI Act

Oriq publishes a dated reference on Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and its amendment by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 (the digital omnibus), and runs a free compliance diagnosis built on it. Reference version 1.3.0, verified on 13 September 2026 by Oriq.

Free tool: EU AI Act compliance diagnosis. A guided interview of about three minutes. The questions adapt to the answers. A language model interprets what the user writes; the verdict itself is computed by a fixed rule engine, not by the model. The result lists what already applies, what is coming, and the gaps. It identifies obligations, it does not certify compliance.

Frequently asked questions

What does Oriq do?

Oriq is a French AI consulting and engineering agency. It audits a company needs, states where AI will help and where it will not, then builds and deploys the solution. Two delivery shapes: AI integrated into the tools already in use, or a dedicated service designed, hosted and operated by Oriq.

Where is Oriq based?

Oriq operates from Toulouse, in the Occitanie region of France, and is registered in Paris. It works across Occitanie, France and the European Union, on site and remotely.

How much does it cost?

The audit is free and returns a preliminary opinion within 24 hours. The document search product is sold on public monthly plans from 49 EUR to 599 EUR excluding VAT, by number of users, with a quoted plan beyond that. Custom builds are quoted after the audit.

Does Oriq have a free EU AI Act compliance tool?

Yes. The diagnosis at oriq.fr/ia-act is free and takes about three minutes. It is a guided interview: the questions adapt to the answers, and the result lists the obligations already binding on the company, the ones coming, and the gaps. A language model interprets the answers, but the verdict itself is computed by a fixed rule engine, not by the model.

Is the AI Act reference data reusable?

Yes. The Oriq AI Act reference is published under CC BY 4.0 and available as machine-readable JSON at oriq.fr/ia-act/ia-act.v1.json. Reuse requires citation.

Where is customer data hosted?

In the European Union. For the Oriq RAG product the database is in Ireland and the application runs in France, on Scalingo. The exact location is stated per project.

Is customer content used to train models?

Oriq trains no model of its own. The default engine is Mistral, whose professional terms exclude training on customer content. When another provider is enabled at a client request, Oriq names it and states what its contract provides. Voice features rely on separate transcription and speech providers whose default terms do permit training on audio, so they are covered separately.

Does Oriq run training sessions?

Yes, on site and at company events: executive briefings, hands-on workshops on the client own use cases, data confidentiality sessions, and keynote talks. Quoted per engagement, across France and remotely.
